We know how hard it can be to foster a rescue dog, and how challenging it can be to get started with volunteering. That’s why we offer support not only by providing information on this site, but by actively aiding the fosters and volunteers of Alachua County.
Local rescues to all that they can to rescue dogs in need, but sometimes they become overwhelmed. If you aren’t getting the support that you need as far as supplies, behavioral advice or training, transportation, or anything else, please let us know. Our foster support network can help.
We can help place a foster dog that isn’t working out in your family in another family that suits the dog’s needs better. We can also match you to a temporary foster family to keep your foster dog while you go on vacation.
If you’ve gotten started volunteering but are unsure how to proceed, what to do, or how to take the next step, ask us! We can teach you how to work with dogs in the yard, how to take a dog out for the day, and any other fun doggo adventures you’d like to try.
If you would like any advice or help getting started fostering or volunteering, don’t hesitate to let us know. We’d love to help you get started!
